Killane Shield Final Date and Venue Changed

The Killane Shield Final against Bray/Greystones will now be played on 28 May 2011 in the Teachers Club 36 Parnell Square at 13.00. The prizes will be presented after the match.

Revised Round 5 draw

The current draw for Round 5 will result in three certain (and one probable) walkovers plus one bye. Five uncontested games are not really acceptable and I have re-jigged the draw as below. I have tried to minimize the changes to the original draw but if there is any problem please mail me.

Great Result for Airidas in Philip Hogarty Blitz

Airidas Tolkus scored 3 of 6 in the Philip Hogarty Blitz held last weekend. His rating performance was a very impressive 1840.
